For Immediate Release:

Dr. Andrew Bostom Urges The Joint Federal Task Force on Antisemitism to Demand Anti-Defamation League Stop Concealing Muslim Antisemitism

In a letter sent last week to The Joint Federal Task Force on Antisemitism, Dr. Andrew Bostom informed the group that the Anti-Defamation League has gone to extraordinary lengths to hide and remove from their website “scientific data revealing disproportionate extreme Muslim antisemitism in Western Europe and the U.S.”

Bostom recently documented the ADL’s disturbing findings that were just removed from their website in March, 2025.

“The ADL has gone to great lengths to hide and remove their very own findings regarding antisemitism in the Muslim communities of Western Europe and the United States,” explained Bostom. “This is not the action of an organization trying to educate and solve a problem. What are their motives? Is this a move to appease not only Muslims, but also Progressives and Woke culture, prioritizing politics over the safety of Jews?”

Before going public, Bostom reached out to the ADL, presenting his findings and concerns.  He received the following response from Mayan Lazarovich, ADL’s Director of International Communications:

Our goal has been to enhance the comparative value of the G100 project [Note: ADL’s “Global (G)100 project” includes Western Europe & the U.S.] by focusing on variables that are broadly generalizable across countries and regions—such as education and age. In contrast, religious affiliation has proven less generalizable due to significant variability in definition, measurement, and representation across national contexts.

She added:

Importantly, we want to reassure you that religious affiliation continues to be measured as part of the G100. In accordance with academic norms, we now reserve full demographic cross-tabulations – especially those involving identity variables like religion—until our internal research and peer-reviewed analysis is complete.

Bostom finds this decision to remove data previously available to the public without explanation very concerning. It must also be asked why data that has been publicly available for years suddenly merits removal for “peer review.”

“We as a society, especially organizations like ADL whose mission is to expose and combat antisemitism, must not fear anticipated excuses and accusations by cynical detractors who have deliberately weaponized false allegations of Islamophobia,” stated Bostom. The ADL must not self-censor its own objective findings about Muslim antisemitism supported by hard survey data.  Otherwise, the bigots will have won, and this particularly common and virulent form of Jew-hatred will continue to fester, unopposed.”

“It is my fear that the ADL is more concerned about appeasing the Muslim community, as well as Progressive politicians and “woke” culture, than ridding the country – the world, of antisemitism.

I urge the Joint Federal Task Force on Antisemitism to continue its well justified and crucial investigations, undeterred by any future predictable, but false, allegations of “Islamophobia,” and demand the ADL provide you with their scientific data regarding all antisemitism.

Re: Anti-Defamation League Concealing Muslim Antisemitism

Dear Task Force Members:

I want to commend you on your determination and fortitude in exposing and combating the current epidemic of antisemitism that is plaguing our nation. Your “first priority” efforts to “root out antisemitic harassment and intimidation in academia and on college campuses,” is welcome and appreciated by Jews and rational people across the country.

Recently, I had publicly documented efforts by the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) to conceal, and purge, their own survey data revealing disproportionate “extreme Muslim antisemitism” in Western Europe, and the U.S. Here are depictions of the data ADL has suppressed:

The ADL, who first and foremost exists to monitor, document and educate the public about antisemitism, and should be an ally in efforts to defeat anti-Jewish sentiment, has engaged in a deliberate cover-up to conceal and purge their own scientific findings. Moreover, independent data, including data from an expansive Brandeis University national U.S. study of campus antisemitism, validate the concealed ADL findings. The Brandeis investigators found that Muslim students were 2.6-fold more likely to harbor extreme antisemitism—defined as shared animus toward Israel, and Jews—relative to Christian students.

The ADL’s apparent self-censorship reflects the corrosive malady of Islamophobia phobia,” the fear of being labeled with unwarranted, scurrilous charges of “Islamophobia” for simply reporting facts – information about a surplus rate of Muslim antisemitism.

It is my fear that the ADL is more concerned about appeasing the Muslim community, as well as Progressive politicians and “woke” culture, than ridding the country – the world, of antisemitism.

I urge the Joint Federal Task Force on Antisemitism to continue its well justified and crucial investigations, undeterred by any future predictable, but false, allegations of “Islamophobia,” and demand the ADL provide you with their scientific data regarding all antisemitism.

Sincerely,

Andrew G. Bostom, MD, MS
