Bivalent mRNA covid vaccine boosters are CURRENTLY A MERE 30% “EFFECTIVE” at preventing new SARS-CoV-2 infection within ~3-months: 51K observational study of Cleveland Clinic employees followed 9/12/22 to 12/12/22

—See methods in full paper, summarized in the abstract below

— Key subject characteristics and results tabulated below

—*Note: of the 2452 infected/re-infected with SARS-CoV-2 during the study, it is possible NONE were hospitalized due to their infection, regardless of vaccination status; no data on hospitalizations are provided

—*Moreover, per the results section: “The multivariable analyses also found that, the more recent the last prior COVID-19 episode was the lower the risk of COVID-19, and that the greater the number of vaccine doses previously received the higher the risk of COVID-19,”—although this latter finding could be due to residual confounding by greater risk for SARS-CoV-2 infection not “adjusted” for in the multivariable modeling.

—* And there are no data presented on Serious Adverse Events associated with the booster
